Introduction

Sumy State University is located in Sumy city in the North-East of Ukraine. Its history began in 1948. Today, SumDU is a leading university of a classical type with the IV accreditation level in the region.
In Sumy, Ukraine it is a higher education institution with IV accreditation and has about 14000 students studying their pre-bachelor, bachelor, specialist, and master degrees in 55 majors and 23 fields. Also, almost 1,750 foreign students represent in almost 50 countries worldwide institutes which include the Medical Institute, Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management, Academic and Research Institute of Business Technologies Academic and Research Institute of Law, Konotop and Shostka Institutes, Chemical and Technological College of Shostka Institute; and faculties include Electronics and Information Technologies, Foreign Philology and Social Communications, Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies, Industrial Pedagogical Technical School of Konotop Institute, Polytechnic School of Konotop Institute, Chemical and Technological College of Shostka Institute and other structural departments. Moreover, there are more than 3000 employees in the university, including Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine and about 130 Doctors of Sciences, Professors; Associate Professors represent the academic staff of the University. In the university, there are postgraduate and post-doctoral programs in 21 majors, and also degree-awarding academic councils are there with over 600 Ph.D. candidates. Moreover, the library of the university has over 3.1 million items and won the All-Ukrainian contest “Library of the Year” and there is a TOEFL-center, and educational centers of companies including Microsoft, Cisco, PortaOne, Delcam, Netcracker, 1С, Siemens, SAS, and MindK operate at SumDU campus. The university sporting achievements include participants at the Olympic Games, World, European and Ukrainian Championships and also students have the opportunity to develop and improve their skills in 16 clubs in accordance with their interests as vocal, instrumental, jazz ensembles, rock bands, dance clubs, drama groups, theater of variety miniatures, folk ensembles, literary and creative workshop, and others interest areas things are there in the university.
The university is a collaborated member of Magna Charta Universitatum, International Association of Universities, European University Association, Eurasian Association of Universities and it has close international relations with leading university and scientific organizations in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Slovenia, and Russia.
Per year university carries about 400 scientific agreements, contracts and carries out over 70 international grants. The activity of the university directs to the integration into the scientific and educational sphere. The university is having collaborated partnership with 100 partners and take care of about 1240 foreign students, academic mobility, active scientific development cooperation with foreign universities, associations and funds, the program of dual diplomas with European institutions of higher education.
This university cooperates with more than 260 partners from 50 countries which include the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Japan, South Korea, China, and other countries in the world.
The university has 650 candidates of sciences, associate professors, doctoral studies in 16 specialties and postgraduate studies in 24 specialties, special councils for dissertation defense.

Course & Eligibility

  • Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category) marks with PCB from any recognized board.
  • Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET).
  • NEET Cutoff 2020 - 147 marks for general category, 113 for reserved category.

matt paper with a white background.

➢ Power of attorney (POA) required only for O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University over Rs100
stamp paper.
➢ Bank Statement of Father or Mother (PLEASE NOTE: Passbook copy is not acceptable)
• 6 months original bank statement with Bank Stamp on it.
• Minimum closing balance not less than Rs. 4.5 Lakhs.
• In case the account is opened less than 6 months then a letter from the bank manager stating when
the account was opened.

Hostel Description

The university has 5 hostels on the campus in which hostel no. 1, hostel no. 2, and hostel no. 3 are for foreign (International) students. The total number of students who are living in hostels is 2,530 of which 730 are foreign students.
  1. University distance from Hostel: - The university hostels are very much near to the university main campus.
  2. Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in double, and triple sharing occupancies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, and budget.
  3. Basic Amenities: - All the rooms are well-furnished and air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities like a bed, bed sheets, mattress, WIFI internet facility, etc.
  4. Laundry room info: - Every hostel is having a common laundry room that can be used by every student on that particular floor.
  5. Kitchen info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common kitchen that can be used by every student of that particular floor. Kitchens are shared with 2-3 electric burners, and a microwave, where students can cook their meals whenever they want to do.
  6. Washroom and Toilet info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common washroom and a common toilet which can be used by every student of that particular floor.
  7. Boy and Girl Division info: - Boys and Girls hostels are separate.
  8. Security info: - All the hostels are very safe and secure as they have security cameras in every hostel for the student safety.
  9. Indian Mess availability info: - Indian food facility is not available in the hostel.
  10. Gym info: - Gym facility is also available in the hostel for every student.
