Introduction

Xi’an Jiaotong university established in the year 1959. Xi’an Jiaotong University is one of the biggest medical university in China. Xi’an Jiaotong University was formerly known as Nanyang college, which was founded in the year 1896 in shanghai. In the year 1956, the main campus of Jiaotong University was relocated to Xi’an and later it was officially named Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1959. It recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. Xi’an Jiaotong University has formed into a huge scale, a well-managed comprehensive university with good teaching staff. The university has 3 campuses (Xingqing campus, Yanta campus, and Qujiang campus) which is covering an area of about 250 hectares. The universities are having a favourable environment and beautiful landscape which makes it a great place for research and learning. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. The university embraces the high-tech methods of practical medicine that empower students to be focused, competitive and flexible in the world market.

The university is providing the best infrastructure for its students and the quality facilities like good and spacious hostels, libraries, modern classrooms, etc. Moreover, the university is providing a healthy and friendly environment on the campus for its students. Xi’an Jiaotong University is offering a low-cost medicine program. The university is preparing doctors for near countries, and far abroad. Xi’an Jiaotong University is a comprehensive research university with 10 significant categories of disciplines i.e. science, medicine, engineering, economics, humanities, law, management, philosophy, education and art, and 27 schools, 9 university colleges for undergrad students and 19 affiliated teaching hospitals. Xi’an Jiaotong University is having 30,000 students who are already studying in the university, including 15,000 graduate students which can pursue 84 undergraduate majors, 115 doctoral disciplines, and 200 master's degree disciplines. At present, there are over 400 international students from all over the world are studying in the university from Pakistan, Malaysia, Russia, Bangladesh, Nepal, ASEAN countries, Gulf countries, Central Asian countries, Australia, New Zealand, and European countries.

Xi'an Jiaotong University has set up international ties. Since 2000, 15 Nobel laureates, 1 Fields Prize winner and over 2,000 foreign professors have visited Xi'an Jiaotong University and gave lectures. Xi'an Jiaotong University has set-up cooperation relations with over 20,000 scholars, CEOs, and high-level government officials from around the globe or developed other types of collaborative projects. Over 28,000 Xi'an Jiaotong University students and teachers have been visiting abroad to study, doing research or participate in degree programs, and over 2,000 faculty members and researchers have traveled abroad for conferences. Xi'an Jiaotong University has exchange program with over 165 universities and research institutions from 42 different countries and regions, including Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, and New Zealand. Scholarship for International students: -

Xi’an Belt & Road International Student Scholarship

Xi'an Belt & Road International Student scholarship is founded by Xi'an Municipal Government. As hosting university, Xi’an Jiaotong University will offer this scholarship to students from One Belt & One Road country to study in Xi’an.

1. Scholarship Coverage and Type

Student Type: Bachelor, Master, Ph.D. and one-year non-degree program students.

Scholarship Coverage:

Bachelor: RMB 15000 per year

Master: RMB 20000 per year

Ph.D.: RMB 25000 per year

One-year non-degree program students: RMB 10000 per year.

Note: Since the Master and Ph.D. application exceeded our admission limit, only Bachelor and one-year non-degree program are open for application now.

The university has 3 campuses in which they are providing hotel-style hostels for international students. The university is providing enjoyable and comfortable accommodation for every student. The university appoints the full-time staff to solve the accommodation related issues of the international students on time.

University distance from Hostel: - There is a walking distance between the university and the hostel.
Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in single, and double occupancies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, budget, and availability.
Basic Amenities: - All the rooms are well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities like a bed, bed sheets, mattress, study table, refrigerator, TV, WIFI internet, etc. Moreover, there is a common study room is there in every hostel.
