    GRADUATES OF THE BSU GRADUATE MEDICAL PROGRAM IN INDIA PASS THE FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATE EXAMINATION (FMGE) IN INDIA

    Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University students, graduated from the One-cycle Educational Program “Medical Doctor” (instructed in English) (enrolled through the first stream) have successfully passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in Idnia, which is held once in every 6 months. The students pass 19 different subjects. This year, 18 000 students have been registered for the exam, out of which about 4 000 have passed the exam threshold. Among them are the graduates from the One-cycle Educational Program “Medical Doctor” (instructed in English) of BSU: Ashish Kumar-178; Vaibhav Babel-176; Ravi Kumar-175; Hukam Chand Saini-171; Rahul Seervi-158; Devendra Sharma-153 and Shubham Raneja-150 scores.


    Indian students are eligible to study in any country of the world provided that the University is affiliated and recognized by the Medical Council of India. After completing the study abroad, if the student decides to continue his/her studies/internship in own country, passing the above mentioned exam is mandatory.

    After passing the FMGE, the graduates have the right to undergo professional practice and internships at any medical institution, clinical unit in India, or even continue their studies at higher levels of education.
