Introduction

David Tvildiani Medical University, established in the year 1991, is one of the biggest medical university in Georgia teaching MBBS to students both from Georgia and abroad. It is recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. David Tvildiani Medical Universityhas formed into a huge scale, a well-managed comprehensive university with good teaching staff. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of MBBS education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. 

AIETI Medical School is a branch of David Tvildiani Medical University and is the first non-governmental institution for higher education in Georgia which is established by Academician David Tvildiani and Dr. Dimitri Tvildiani in 1989. AIETI is recognized by WHO and listed in “World Directory of Medical Schools” in 1995. Currently, the university and its branch are active members of the Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE), Association of Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), Organization for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in European System (ORPHEUS), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), and Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS). Approximately over 200 MBBS graduates of DTMU have successfully passed the qualifying exams and have already completed or they are currently enrolled in a residency or other proficiency courses, and working as physicians in prominent USA and European Universities and Clinics.

David Tvildiani Medical University significantly contributed to the field of the medicine in order to prepare worthy doctors by 29-year-old experience. David Tvildiani Medical University is offering a low-cost medicine program. The university is preparing doctors for near countries like India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and far abroad. The University has 476 graduates. At present 884 Georgian and international students are studying for a Ph.D., Ph.D. and Ph.D. programs; The University has 271 staff academic, administrative, other teaching and research; There are 7 departments working: 5 integrates 39 disciplines (directions) in various modules to deliver 74 courses; As well as training in the departments' scientific and clinical skills.
