Introduction

Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy is one of the oldest ancient times of higher education in our country, one founded in 1879, as a Faculty of Medicine, is associated more with two other institutions that complete the area of ​​medical training - the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Dental Medicine. In 1991, the Institute was confronted with the status of the university, receiving the name of Grigore T. Popa. Later, the Faculty of Medical Bioengineering is included, the only one of its kind in Romania. At present university teaching staff has real training and qualification levels are announced by many publications at the national and international level in prestigious media and scientific journals. The University was named to pay tribute to Grigore T. Popa – a Romanian researcher who was the first to pioneer modern clinical investigation. The academic establishment serves over 12,000 students, who are pursuing guest lectures, doctoral degrees, and post-graduate medical training. Grigore T. Popa University is grouped by the Ministry of Education as a high-level examination and schooling college.
