Introduction
Kyrgyz State Medical AcademyKyrgyz State Medical Academy was founded in the year 1939 with 200 students. It is one of the best and oldest medical university of Kyrgyzstan. KSMU is recognized by MCI, FAIMER, IMED as well as by WHO. The institute offers general medicine, stomatology, Pediatrics for the Indian students.
The Institute is providing the best infrastructure for their student and the quality facilities like good and spacious hostels, library, modern classroom, etc., moreover, the institute is providing the healthy and friendly environment in the campus for their students. The institute has various other activity centres in the campus like gym, separate sports complex etc. The University believes in the overall development of every student and thus organizes various personality development programs such as Seminars, Debates, Conferences and Student Exchange programs. Apart from personality development programs, the University organizes various sports and cultural events and also encourages students to partake in these activities.
Kyrgyz State Medical Academy develops international relations with leading medical universities of the CIS and many other abroad countries and has agreements, agreements and memoranda of cooperation with over 100 higher education institutions. The foremost active cooperation is with the universities of Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Iran, Europe and South Korea through bilateral agreements and scientific and academic projects. These relations have been created to develop academic mobility for students and teachers. Students of Kyrgyz State Medical Academy participate in international scientific and practical conferences, festivals and student Olympiads.
Kyrgyz State Medical Academy students have an opportunity to pass practical training at Erzincan University (Turkey), and in universities of Russia and Kazakhstan, and also to pay an in-depth visit to Hebei Medical University (China).
Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMU) is offering a low-cost medicine program me. The academy is preparing doctors for near countries, and far abroad. More than 4,000 students are already studying at KSMU which includes the students of Kyrgyzstan, CIS countries, and 17 other foreign countries.
Course & Eligibility
- Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with minimum 50% marks with PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) from any recognized board.
- NEET Score must be for General Categories (2022) - 117 Marks For General & For Reserved Categories - 93 Marks.
In 2021, NEET cutoff passing marks for general category is 720-138, while for SC/ST/OBC it is 137-108.
Scholarship
A presidential scholarship is awarded every year to the best students of Kyrgyz universities for achievements in their studies and public life. This year, 7 of our students received presidential scholarships. Jeenbekov handed each of them a letter of commendation and a scholarship in the amount of 50,000 soms for one academic year (10 months).

Hostel Description
The institute has 6 hostels in the campus in which they are providing a well-furnished room with all the necessary amenities like a bed, mattress, cafeteria, air-condition, etc. Some of the important facts of the hostel: -
- University distance from Hostel: - There are only 5-10 mins of walking distance in between the main campus of the university and the hostel.
- Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in 2, 3, and 4 sharing occupies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, budget, and availability.
- Basic Amenities: - All the rooms are well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities like a bed, bed sheets, mattress, study table, etc. Moreover, there is a common study room is there in every hostel.
- Laundry room info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common laundry room that can be used by every student of that hostel.
- Kitchen info: - Every hostel is having two common kitchens which can be used by every student of that particular floor. Kitchens are shared with 2-3 electric burners, and a microwave, where students can cook their meals whenever they want to do.
- Washroom and Toilet info: - There is a common washroom and the toilet is there for every floor of the hostel.
- Boy and Girl Division info: - Boys and girls hostels are separate.
- Security info: - All the hostels are very safe and secure as they have security cameras in every hostel for the students safety. Security staff is always there for the security of the students.
- Indian Mess availability info: - Indian mess is not available in the hostel but the Tiffin system is available for the Indian systems in the hostel.
- Gym info: - The university has a gym in the campus with modern machines and tools like dumbbells, treadmill, etc.
