Since its founding, in 1921, Xiamen University has produced more than 200,000 undergraduates and graduates over 60 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) have studied or worked at Xiamen University. It was the first university in China founded by an overseas Chinese. At present it is the only key comprehensive university directly affiliated with the Education Ministry in any of the five special economic zones and is one of China’s higher-level universities designated for the state key construction of the "211 Project" and the "985 Project

Hostel Description

Medical College of Xiamen University provides on-campus hostel to the medical international students, the hostel executes hotel style management. Student apartments are equipped with a comprehensive range of amenities, with all rooms containing a private bathroom, a telephone, an air conditioner, Internet access points, a water heater, a safe, etc.
